Congratulations Melissa and Aaron... not sure if you noticed but we put 2 special HEART shaped diamantes on the back of your cake for you both... seeing as you had to see the back of your cake for most of the night :-)
Rosco's 40th Birthday Madhatter
How FUN this was to make for my beautiful friend (one of my first students!) Lorraine and her partner Rosco.... Lorraine brought lots of pics from lots of different cakes with sooo many "Alice Down The Rabbit Hole's" but in the end the inspiration mostly came from the gorgeous and talented Anna-Maria Roche. (x)

was a joint effort ..... this was my friend's 3rd serious fondant cake.... she is soooo brave! Armed with some new tools, we had so much fun creating this cake for 'Jane's' 39th UN-Birthday.

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday with a Cake Decorating Day...a few of my cake crazy friends/family came over to help me create my very PINK (& white & gold) birthday cake.
Each tier had a special meaning for me.... things that remind me of how wonderful life is and has been over the last 40yrs.... my family, my friends, my life growing up...
Thankyou to everyone who came to my birthday party to help me celebrate - each of you are very special to me... and one little heart on the 3rd tier belongs to you.
(Sorry 'bout the sobbing at speech time!! :-P )
